Hidden in the mountains of upstate New York, NY A Utopia awaits your stay. The Caretaker of the Hotel, Cousin John Carrington inherited the establishment after his Grandmother decided it would be best to send him to America where “they don’t care as much about that sort of thing”. The family bought a hotel in a secluded estate in Greenfield Park, NY. Here, Cousin John flourished in his new home, developing a distinct personal aesthetic which can be seen reflected in those around him. Meeting his partner, Hilton Dresden, in the City, Cousin John moved Hilton to CHH. After rumours of Cousin John’s residence spread, the hotel started to attract a specific clientele for its long-term residents, this combined with the house ensemble, Cousin John’s eccentric management of the hotel, and Hilton’s formidable presence, has made the Carrington House Hotel a veritable queer utopia. Much to the surprise of it’s unsuspecting guests.
